F-Stop Junkie
After a positive response to my Bike Show photos thread a few people have expressed interest in prints, and I've even sold one A3 print already! So my question to the trials world is 1) Would you buy beautiful trials photos? 2) Would you buy shots of yourself? 3) Would you buy photographic prints, or only huge posters for £3? I'm keen to travel around a little during the year, take shots at comps as well as group rides, NASS and the like... So what do people think? If by that you mean MBUK type poster, and bigger, i would gladly buy some. I know it wont necessarily be MBUK size or what ever, but just so i know what you mean by poster. :- Good idea heh :P
Janson
yes, yes, yes. I would definitely buy good photos, and posters are ALWAYS cool! Good idea. :P
Matt_Tupman
I'd buy posters to right :P any smaller and I could print them myself but posters would be cool how big can you go? Do you want to come to are comp in July :-" ?? Matt
F-Stop Junkie
Right, looking at posters, I can only really do them if I get 250+ done at a time. The biggest I can get done is 30" x 20" (76cm x 51cm) which is pretty damn big. It would be about £30 as each one is essentially a one off. A3 for £16, A4 for £6 and even 6" x 4" (the standard photo size from the chemists) for £1.50 a pop. That includes postage and whathaveyou. What I could do is post a gallery after each event, then people can buy shots of themselves or others as they wish. Sound cool?

Rob_P
Yeah I think it would be a good idea to have a rather large photo on the wall of either myself or someine else (famous like.) Yeah thats not a bad price either! Good idea and I think that I would definetly be up for that! Rob (Y) (Y)

TrashZen
Hi , Really excellent pics, I like very much all the blurred effects with low shutter speed and flash....cool... (Y) for cheaper prints...what don't you try staples...I mean digital coulour copies on large sheets of paper, they probably do up to A3 and more...on thick paper... (Y) (but then you need your pics in digital format, do you have a digital or analogue camera?) Right, looking at posters, I can only really do them if I get 250+ done at a time. motocrossmumford
i would definetly buy trials shots of myself, thats what they do at motocross, you get people who go along wid a lap top and camera. they take pics of you, you then view them and he sends them of to you, wicked idea i think. F-Stop Junkie
Right, I think what I'll do is start a gallery shortly. What I can then do is when I go to a ride/trial/show is post pics up, and people can buy the shots if they like!
zoojames
yeh, i'd buy some of me :S ← VANITY! B) Love you miles (Y) Yeah I'd buy some of me and my brother! oakley
i would probs buy some, sounds like a good idea! (Y) would you be able to get to the worlds this year, you would get some good photos there. You could atleast get to the British one!!! joE!
Biff
I would buy them but you should have took the photos in action shot, i dont like the blurry effect
F-Stop Junkie
I would buy them but you should have took the photos in action shot, ← While my camera does have a sports mode, that would have killed the ambient lighting and probably bumped the ISO up and made the noise really bad. I'd rather keep it in manual where I have some control :S) Don't worry, the outdoors events don't suffer from this!
sm_ben
Personally I dont know if I would buy prints of any rider, but I would buy one if it was of me and I'd prefer a photograhic Print rather than a poster
F-Stop Junkie
Ben, the quality of these prints is amazing. A3 prints I've had done are photographic prints, not like posters done on cheap paper. The only reason I say poster is that these prints go very, very large!
