Sameer
First bike I rode trials on was a bright orange 'Shanghai' Y-Frame BMX. Got it for my 12th birthday (almost 6 years ago!!! Ok, I so didn't think it was that long ago...). It came with V-Brakes fitted so I learnt endo's and eventually most other things on it. But then I needed to up the game so I got a fake Marin Raceline copy, known as the MR Raider, with cheapo front suspension that became rigid because I took the black plastic spring thingies off and the fluid froze up or something. It wasn't a trials bike, obviously, but I put some FSA PowerPro's on and a DMR Ring thing to make it look more trialsy. Did the job. I guess. So my first MTB'y trialsy bike was about 4 or 5 years ago.

tomturd
I first learnt to do 'trials' (not really.. endos, backhops and stuff) on a 19" Specialized rockhopper, then got a Coyote Dual Slalom frame (about the same time as the frame of choice was a DDG shooter), then an azonic DS1.. now a base. joe b
Old skool Onza T-Bird, bought second hand :P of course... You know there the ones with the normal frame design, all red with a pretty big seat on? I did that up with a tmaster stem, megamo bars front and back white maguras... Then i bought a Monty X-hydra from Mark-Anthony Cycles when they told me that they didn't have any Megamo Comp 20"'s in stock but i could have an X-Hydra fro the same price. :- I did that up, pretty neatly actually (Y) . Xlite forks, cranks, bb, backwheel plaz pads etc. Then i bought craigs old silver Ti off him and put a profile on that, and that did me well. That saw me get better, she was the one! (Y) But she's in safe hands now (Y) . Now ive got my beautiful XTP that i got for christmas. I payed most of the money torwards it (tight parents) by selling the Ti etc. But i dont regret one single penny of it, i love it!! Ive upgraded this one with monty xlite 2005 bar and stem, coust pads. I am now waiting for my profile to be built onto a viz rim :) . Cheers, Joe. Luke Drewery
My first bike was a barracuda slum, it was more of a jump bike, and had huge rigid forks that weighed a ton. It also had a 32t bashring and tektro v-brakes. However, i actualy started learning on a raleigh max suspension bike with 180 endos, backhops, bunnyhops etc. Then i got a planet x zebdi, and now i have a levelboss 1065. Nick Garland
I started on a Saracen MAD 2002 or 2001 I cant remember. White with the red blue and white stickers one (same as the x-ile) did we good enough, nice 17.5" chainstays and the worlds worst geometry for a trials bike ever.
