Hmmmm....those monty shoe's aren' that nice, the YIK one's aren't much better but I suppose they are ugly but perform good.

Yeah james yours are way nicer. Im looking for how much the monty shoes cost then we can compare.

the yik ones look better, but at 69.99 i think they are way overpriced.

plus the monty ones soles look like that of a basic trainer, nothing special there?

anyone got a pic of the bottom of the sole?

the only trials specific shoe i like is the old style try-all ones :S

On one hand i'm thinking: Who gives a shit about what they look like, if you're riding trials you look like a gimp anyways, we hop up walls on our back wheel!!111one.

On the other hand: Why can't they come up with a decently priced NORMAL LOOKING shoe with a decent sole? They'd be quids in (like that woman off smART).

On my third hand i'm thinking:What's wrong with 'skate' shoes?

I like the bikecykle on the Monty shoe.

Incase you forget why you were wearing gay shoes.

bum them off all you need is ribo shoes. they look loads better than the koxx/monty/yuk shoes and there well worth what they cost.

how can you bum them off just yet, no one has even really used them.

how much do the ribo shoes cost anyway?

Personally, I don't have enough money to pay for random living costs, parts for my bike, new strings for my basses and then to be able to buy another 2 pairs of shoes. I wouldn't want to wear those shoes (well, at all really) in anything other than a riding setting, and so I'd still need to get another pair.

At the moment, I'm wearing my Etnies that I got from Bike'05. They were cheap, but the f**ktards at Etnies obviously didn't actually think about securely attaching the soles, but there we go...

Anyway, point I'm making is that they're ultra grippy on my pedals, they've got really nice, flexible soles, if you do the laces up on these (no super thick tongue, so you have to basically) there's decent ankle support, but as well as that I can wear them down to the pub/school/anywhere. So basically, for around £30 I got a pair of do-it-all shoes, which, having heard from a lot of people, would still last longer than - for example - those Koxx shoes.
