CurtisRider
give it a good clean, wash the rotor with washing up liquid, sand/file the pad surface to get any glaze/cack off and break the brake in again-sorrrted :S maybe a new cable too? i dont know how to actually service the unit itself though...but doubt that would help much
scott-mad
all i do with mine is to take off the rotor and clean it with warm water and washing up liquid, then dry it. take out the brake pads and get some seariously fine sandpaper and put it on a flat surface and just gently rub it back and forth, :S , re-asemble and just break it in again. basically the same as the guy above. oh yeah and if your cable is going crap get shimano xtr cable, absolutly gorgeous  Edited May 1, 2005 by scott-mad
