Kerrie-Anne
Hi, typed the code it came up with on your computer into the msn help and apparently this is your problem........ If you can't sign in to MSN Messenger, the connection settings (Settings associated with your Internet connection.) in MSN Messenger might be preventing you from connecting to Microsoft .NET Passport or Microsoft .NET Messenger Service. The MSN Messenger Connection Troubleshooter can often find and fix these problems. The Connection Troubleshooter starts automatically if MSN Messenger encounters a connection problem. If you choose not to use the Connection Troubleshooter, or it does not solve your connection problem, try the following: On the Tools menu, click Options. (If the menu bar doesn't appear at the top of the conversation window, the window frame may be hidden. Click in the upper left corner of the window, or press ALT to restore it.) In the left pane, click Connection. Under Connection Settings, click Test Connection. If you agree to allow the Connection Troubleshooter to examine your system, it will test for connection problems and report steps you can take to correct them. Optional: Perform advanced troubleshootingTo troubleshoot your specific type of connection, click Advanced Settings. In the Advanced Connection Options dialog box, check that the settings for your particular connection type are correct. To test your connection, click the Test button. Click OK, and then click OK again. Optional: Let MSN Messenger log your sign-in process for better troubleshooting You can use the connection log to troubleshoot your MSN connection problem. (It is very helpful to have the connection log when you contact Customer Support.) Under Connection Logging, select the Save a log of my server connections to help troubleshoot connection problems check box. Click OK. Try signing in to MSN Messenger again. If you still can't sign in to MSN Messenger, try changing your Microsoft Internet Explorer connection settings. sorry its such alot just copied and pasted what your problem code was. Hope i help (Y) Kerrie.

Sam Nichols
If you cant get into messenger or hotmail then it's likely someone has guessed your password or looked over your shoulder when you typed it in or summit like that. Have you tried getting the password by answering your secret question? And the most obvious one... you ARE typing the password right aren't you? And you DONT have caps lock on?
