Urpedigreechumdog
I used a small allen key to keep stretching the hose, just keep goin' at it lol :)
Dan6061
can you not just bend it about a bit? (take it it's stiff?)
Danny
Get the 2 white blocks from the magura mini service kit and put them with the pipe between in a vice with out 1.5cm of hose pretrudeing from the top of the blocks. Tap the barbed fitting into the tube with a hammer. No heating of the pipe is necessary. But without the blocks and a vice your gonna stuggle. Heating the hose usually means you end up with a loose fitting.
evileye
cheers il try that .What about hot water or boiling water to make it soft
Danny
cheers il try that .What about hot water or boiling water to make it soft ← No need. If you heat the pipe too much it just stays wide and doesnt grip the barbs on the fitting.
PythonRider
No need. If you heat the pipe too much it just stays wide and doesnt grip the barbs on the fitting. ← Yer. And it's a lot easier to put the barb through the side of the hose if you go at a slight angle. I've had to do this after every ride I've been on in the past month!
