Then I thought "But it was f**king flexy 'cos you need the strength of the triangles to resist flexing". Then I thought of food. ← It could be done though, the monocoupe needs to be straighter (more direct line from the headtube and rear dropouts) and more kite shaped (taller where the seat tube should be) if that makes any sense. Monocoupes have been proved to be more rigid than a standard tubing setup, more and more DH bikes use monocoupe frames now. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Rich Pearson Posted April 29, 2005 Report Share Posted April 29, 2005 (edited) Sorry to be kind of annoying, but it looks pretty damn similar to the 05 monty stock frames (new X-lite I think). the bb rise, weird plate type dropouts, curved tubing. When I saw the HiFi that made to my new "next frame after i break this one" list but now looking at this Gu one....hmm..... I'm just gona have to say i like them both, they're each induvidual and different in their own ways.....both being gorgeous!
