AdamR28
so the bash ring isnt fixed? could i remove it or would i need some kind of spacer? ← You could remove it, correct, but you'd have a bit of a gap between the crank arm and freewheel (where the splined section of the crank arm is). You could always remove the bash plate - thats another option. The bashring is included to make the bike conform to British Standards, which say that bikes with front freewheels need to include a protection device (to pass, that is); as well as being very handy for the UCI types out there. andyroo
The bash sits on the splines indicated in my beautiful diagram (different crankset - same idea) and the freewheel screws on to hols it in place. You can safely screw on a freewheel without the bash, but you will see a gap between the crank and the freewheel where the splines sit, but the splines will still touch the freewheel where normal cranks would completely touch the freewheel. Burton
No they don't they shrink the wheelbase because of the angle of the headtube on the T-Pro ← But the echo team forks have more rake on them?

JT!
Yes, the Zoo!'s ARE made of U6, go look on the spec on Tartybikes ← Huh, oops (Y) Whats the main argument that people prefer the t-pro, the frame geo is nearly exactly the same, and so is the spec, apart from the t-mag has a disk. (Y) Surely the t-mag is a better bike, it's the same with a disk, hence the £70 extra. So, why are people saying t-pro?
Luke Drewery
I would probably go for the t-mag, it comes with a disk and isnt as common as a t-pro, as well as having a better frame design. They are both good bikes for the money, so its personal preference really (Y)
CH!P
T-Pro (Y) I've riden T-Mag's and they're alrite, but look poo if you ask me. My T-Pro's over a year old, no cracks, rides beautiful and looks well. Get the T-Pro (Y)

roozor
of course, both of them have a front free wheel
roozor
I'm in the same boat at the moment, can't decide between the two! The bb on the t-mag looks like it allmost scrapes along the floor though, which is puting me off a bit. Might just get an 05' t-pro , plus it's made from U6. And get forks and disc! Only problem with a t-pro is, no components match the colour
tricalum
Get the t-mag, it looks A mazing, and am told it rides very nice too.I was going to get it before I got my zoo python replica, and liked it alot. It even has a front disc, the first onza mod with one on.
roozor
What about the t-mag bb? looks a tad low for my liking :E ? how does riding it compare to the t-pro?
