Building A Four Cross Wheel

Hey dudes

Gonna be building a new front wheel up this week (with the help of kev) and to get decent spokes. I have had to go for four cross!

now we can build a three cross wheel no probs, but neither of us have done a four cross one before is it literally just a case of going one hole further over or is there anything random i have to watch out for (Y)

I had the same problem with my rear wheel, and:

Go 'over, over, over, under' for 4x, instead of 'over, over, under' as you would for 3x.

^^^ That's what I would have said, only he put it better (Y)

Also, I found that if you put all the spokes in one side then lace it up, rather than doing one at a time it's easier. Overall I think 4x is a moose to do (Y)

yeah but with four cross i can use decent DT double butted spokes, instead of three cross and using crappy billys spokes (Y)
