RyanRs
Find some way of attaching a scaffolding pole (or something equally long) to the post, and twist it. There's no way it can't come out with that. ← unless the seatpoast snapps off where it starts going in the frame!
ScotchDave
I believe that certain household cleaners such as, bog cleaner contain ammonia, use some. It sounds very much to me like you have chemical bonding between the frame and seatpost. onzamad
battry acid is also one of the most effective paint strippers, and speeds up oxidation in steel. not good! ← may i just say that battery acid is not sodium hydroxide, for one thing sodium hydroxide is an alkali/base, not an acid, in bateries it is sulphuric acid, no wonder its a good paint stripper its a very strong acid. sorry just had to be said......
