Ali C
my rim that I made had to be laced like that, seems I was on to a good idea (Y)
joe b
Good idea, wheel seems like it would be stronger because the spokes are being stressed inwards more. Cheers, Joe.

Olly C
Why have they anodised them and not had them chrome? I thought chrome was best as anodising wears off? Also what would be the downsides of getting chrome trials rims for better braking? Olly.
Phatmike
Why have they anodised them and not had them chrome? I thought chrome was best as anodising wears off? Also what would be the downsides of getting chrome trials rims for better braking? Olly. ← Chrome + Wetness = Non existant brakeness. (Y) I saw these rims last week, they do look pretty swish. Interesting to note that the rim's built "correctly" with the spokes like that, in the "opposite" holes, when the majority of rims are advised to be built with the left spoke on the left side of the rim... (Apart from symetrical rims obviously) Mike.
TheMunn
Look's like they have been influenced by some trial's rim's, can't think of any other reason why they are drilled.
Burton
it would be better if it was eye-letted :) but it looks like a good idea (Y) because you can drill more hole to save more weight and maybe having a stronger wheel build at the same time
..johal..
am i the only one who thinks there just wrong and brown? basic ideas grat BUT why brown? (Y) johal
butcha87
It's quite a popular colour in the Fly Bikes range. Kevin Porter has/had his bike sprayed completely brown and I think Sergio runs brown bars.
andyroo
Would be cool to see some trials rims like that, you could save some serious weight on wide rims with the holes so close together like that, plus the lacing looks sweet! STEVE-0
(Y) That colour is horrible!! I dont like it, the spokes look way too close to the edge. Holes do look neat though. I dont think they are very trials-like, not ideal, spokes make them look crap in my opinion.
