pashley pro
hi there people im looking at getting the samsung D500. and i have found the software that converts movie files to your phone on memory cards as little as 128 mb the only problem is the samsung d500 doesnt have memory cards it just has 96mb of built in memory. do you think this will still be ok to play films using a converter like this http://www.download.com/DVD-to-Mobile-Smar...tml?tag=lst-0-2 thanks

Alexx
hi there people im looking at getting the samsung D500. ← Duncan, I've got the e800 (The model underthe d500) and a couple of my friends have the d500 it's self. If your after something for movies / more entertainment features ect DON'T get the d500. It's like a business phone, it has loads of stuff for text, and sotorage etc, but the games + entertainment suck (Y) The new Sony Ericsons, Motos, and nokia smartphones are where it's at for that
Trials Star
My brother has the D500, he got it for £50.00 off a mate because he orderd one on pay monthly and they sent him two (Y) , anyway, yeah as there is up too 60 minutes of recording i think a memory slick is a defonate, you can get one for the Sharp GX30i which my mate has got he has a 256mb one and holds a lot! but how much was you thinking of paying for the D500? Because there not out on pay as you go yet and when they do come out there are going too be about £350.00  Think about it, if i was you i would wait for a bit and wait for a better phone too come out but its up too you. Mat (Y)

Alexx
Sony Ericsson P910i, 64mb on board memory, upto a confirmed 2Gb memory stick (you get a 32mb with the phone) ← Yeah the P910i is pretty damn sweet on the entertainment side of things. Only downside is it's size, but it makes up for that in the fact it's like 90% screen lol. Check this link out; http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?cc=gb&...m=pp1&pid=10183 and you can actually play with the phone (Y)

Olly C
I've got the Nokia 6600 with a 128mb MMC and Bluetooth Device for the PC. I've now got shed loads of pretty neat+impressive games on the phone, along with themes and any pics etc you want. I've also got a few videos on there and while downloading zip's of software one had a hour long porn movie on there (Y) was about 40mb big so yea its gotta be possible to get them down to size. The 6630 is really good though on all features and stuff BUT the cards are twice the price if the MMC's because there half the size and slot in the side instead of under the battery. Olly. Alexx
Can you suggest a better one? ← Pay as you go, provided you keep the phone a couple of years, it's far cheaper. For example, My e800 on contract is £30 for about the above, I got the phone on ebay for £110 £10 / month credit gets me 500 free texts and with an average call charge of 3p/min and 1p/min evening weekends to other mobiles i get like 500 min a month talk time. Over 2 years that £350, rather than £720 on contract. And I get more talktime, and texts... I'm also free to chop and change and not tied down by contracts. If your a texter get a text bolton, and if you want more talktime get something like an easy talk tarrif.
