modrider666
Hey everyone, I cant make up my mind if i should go for the new 05 echo team forks or the old echo team forks. I am switching to front disk and i have already purchased my front disk wheel, but i still need some new forks and a hope trial disk brake. I could either get the old echo team forks now or wait a bit longer, and save a bit more money and go for the new 05 team forks. What is everyones opinion on this situatation and what would you get. The new ones do look very nice but i could get my front disk quicker if i got the old ones as they are not as much money. >_< They can both be seen on tartybikes if you havent seen the new ones yet. Thanks for your time everyone :turned: Edited April 23, 2005 by modrider666
TheMunn
Might aswell get the older one's and get your disc. Then you will be out riding in less time.
Impacted.
I would say get the old ones, because they can't have made too many modifications on such good forks. And you'll be able to ride quicker, and the new ones are a bit expensive compared to the old ones.
modrider666
Hi mate, I wont be out of riding at all because i have currently got a HS33 setup on the front at the minuite. And i am going to get all the bits first then switch it over. Do you still think i should just go for the old ones? >_< . Cheers, Peter
pock3t
I have the old ones on my t-pro, I would probably still go with the new ones though, I think there the same price, so just buy the up to date forks. >_< Pock3t
Hobnobs
Go for the old ones, the new ones are 40 quid more and weigh 240 grams more. Theyve made an already strong fork stronger, but heavier, rather pointless imo, the old ones are good, but keep your headset tight, i snapped mine because of a loose headset, or so ive been told.
