yeah i was thinking of getting middleburns but it might cause hassle getting the right gear ratios, ect for a mod.

reccon supercycles will give me a new set?

Defo for half price not sure about for free you'd have to ask them yourself.

yeah, i think it was just bad luck, i must have twatted it hard on something to initially weaken it, then fatigue?

they were over a year old though, but i thought they were strong :P

anyways, id be a very happy chappy with a replacement *hint* *hint* supercycles :)

Lewis@Poyntontrials.com on here managed to snap his set of 'burns, and from what I can tell he never got to pull any proper big stuff on them (although I might be wrong about that). It's pretty random as to when they fail, really, but I know Middleburns have snapped in under a year before.

Middleburns aren't an option for the majority of riders on here using Tensiles as front freewheel cranks, so your "Buy middleburns" thing is kinda wasted breathe?

And they are far too long.

Wish they would bring out a ffs 'burns cranks.

you may say that, but a mate in plymouth ahs recently gone from a flat bar n stem and mod crank, to a zoo mod bar n stem and 175mm tensiles, and it feels INCREDIBLE!!!!!

the onyl way to describe it is like a stock bike!

it has all the awesome qualities of a mod, amazing on the back wheel, really tough, awesome brakes due to smaller wheels, lighter!

yet the bits you actually interact with-pedals (crank length changes feel) and bars, are just like a stock bike, making it far more easy for anyone to jump on and ride!

ITS AWESOME!!!!

i reckon more mod riders should run long cranks!
