Brian Bleech
It will be fine, probably just needs trueing up again  but my sun rhyno lite xl is a great rim and its welded! A lot better than the DMR one I was using! It was a nicer rim to build up than my mates koxx rim too. Good Rims overall. Not cheesy either
Michael Hardman
Im one of veryt few to destroy a well built sun mag30 rim, i was hucking silly hieghts to stairs in london though. It got warrentied. Sun rims are a real alternative to mavic

spunkey_monkey_boy
my sun rim is amazing, i'll be getting another one if this one ever dies... i'm consiering a sun doublewide 24" for the rear of a street bike, grind the side to give it a braking surface and then drill it to make it weigh less than me and it'll be sweet  Edited April 19, 2005 by spunkey_monkey_boy
Ali C
sounds like my old double wide, it had 104 holes that I drilled  I found grinds lasted ages on them too.

mat hudson
double wide rims are really good strong rims, and they really are very wide. the singlewide looks interesting i wonder what effect a maggie would have on those sidewalls (Y)
Ali C
tried it (I have my old rim for sale on ebay) it worked very well, grinds lasted ages, but it was too narrow for my needs.

As for single wides I had single tracks on my le toy, lasted over a year, no other wheel has lasted that long with me and i wasnt affraid to abuse the bike. Ali C
they are heavy though, my drilled one still weighed about 850g. I also found it flat spotted easier than other rims, but I did hammer mine into walls pretty hard, I chipped bits of wall off when I rimmed out lol
