Bendee
if you wanted a smaller bash what about the middleburn ti bash there stupidly good and well worth the 70quid, get that and run a rear cassette that would be alot better than the front freewheel. I gotta ring him his week! The tensile's are supernice cranks though, but obviously with there problems. You could get your middleburn bash machined down to fit a 20T chainring, that looks nice! Mike ← i've just found out you can get the super pro trials cranks and bash for £140. if the bash costs £70 that means the cranks only cost £70 so if i can't find the set up 2nd hand i'll probably just go buy new :P i don't suppose i'm going to get lucky and find out the fsa afterburners use the same thread for holding the spider on as the muiddleburns am i??? edit: sorry cold fingers and amazingly shit spelling today  Edited April 19, 2005 by spunkey_monkey_boy
Bendee
yeah it does seem expensive thats what put me off at first but now i have one and have had for some time i really cant fault it its so strong the teeth look brand new id defo buy another and ive not had any chain issues that people thought it would have. i needed cranks for my freeride bike so i bought the super pro trials cranks and bash and sold the bash for like 55 so i got the cranks super cheap (i allready had the super pro trials bash at this time, also if you havnt seen it allready go check the pic of your sx in the gallery ive put a link up to mine)
Waynio
tensiles with a UCI bash set up should work with a like 122 b/b you may even get away with a shorter b/b, iv used a 113 on all my bikes iv had tensiles on and they have fit extremly perfect. if you want i can send you a r/h crank a b/b and you can by all means try and see how they fit? then you can order yourself a set of tensiles? other wise the part that Mr koxx has got will do for a set of 3 piece cranks you have. so swopping or buying that part would deffintaly work for you. it may even work with a bit of adapting to a set of FSA afterburners. Waynio.......................... PM me if you want to try the tensiles.
dave33
ok i havnt read the post much but its possible to fitt a front free wheel to burns.need to get the bash and take it ti some one with a lathe and ask them to machine it down anf to cut the threads on it so you can screw a free wheel on to it, wouldnt cost that much
