Hope Mono Problem...

i have a mono from nov 04, but after being used by a bent onza skewer (nothing serious, only where the lever is) it started creakin like hell, i have posted about this a while back but i never got round to find out whats wrong....

now its creakin more and more, and i get some ridiculous slippage, like i can get about 5 slips within riding time of 5 mins....

then my mate steward finally had a look inside today, but nothin seems to be fecked, bearings were fine, pawls/springs were all good, axle weren't snapped or bent, hub body was not cracked....but the freehub, had all these 'dents' on it made from either the teeth inside the hub, but steward says its fine, most mono's do that. but 1 big problem is that 1 side of the (inside) of the freehub where the 'dents' are there are some massive dents where i can see the teeth have been eating into the free hub....

has anyone had this before? is it normal and could this be causing all the creaks and slippage?

steve
