Nick Garland
Hi Are there any companies that will do hard anodizing like on the T-Pro in a range of colours?

Waynio
Doesnt hard anodizing cost a fortune. yes which makes it cheaper to just take the thought out of your head unless you have money to burn. it aint worth doing, the ebst colour of a bike is silver and always will be, it doesnt show marks as easy (scrathes and scuffs) best thing to do would be sand your frame down and polish it up and laquer it. Waynio........................ or even get a tin of spray paint your fav colour n spray it to be more individual. be crazy and do what you personally want to do. munkee
I dont know how concrete this information is but i read it in a car magazine that if you spray paint a part white, then laquer it with about 15 layers it looks like chrome. Something along those lines.

spunkey_monkey_boy
i hate to be the tree huggin party pooper but do you guys have any idea how bad annodising is for the environment? its possibly the worst treatment there is, they use shit loads of chemicals and it really isn't nice at all. christ even emptying all those cans of spray paint is better for the environment!!! re spray it or polish it silver
Brisa
Hey Spunky, Im not saying it isn't or trying to be sarcastic or smart but I was under the impression all you needed for anodising was acid, dye and some sort of electric currant and it can be done in your own home. Im wondering does it actually give off dangerous gases as I have seen a 'how to' thing on an airgun forum and was thinking of trying it. Cheers

Nick Garland
Wasnt for a frame was for other parks of bike. But my friend said he will do it at his work. Normal anodizing with some laquer thats like uber strong to resist scrathces etc easier.
