chrishayton
Armourdillo has ceased production of its frame protector. Does anyone no why this is, as they seem very popular and work great, or are they developing a newer frame protector.
Shaun
Yes, it's called duck tape and motorbike spokes. Cheap and tough.

JT!
Yes, it's called duck tape and motorbike spokes. Cheap and tough. ← And looks crap. I never realy saw the need for one, but they were popular, but its one of those things you only need to buy once. And they dont exactly break, so maby everyone who wanted one, has got one. Therefor no more sales.
Josephine
And looks crap. That's not an issue really, trials bikes look geeky, they may as well work well and not dent so easily, sounds like a good plan to me. Joe

Mines pritty wreaked so i was thinking of buying a new one, the plastic white rods inside keep working there way outta the matirial at the ends and i dont ride everyday so i could see some people needing a new one sometime
Chris_Walker
Armourdillo shut down because of another company with the same name, Robert couldn't match the size of the company so he had no choice but to close. Chris
Savage
Just get 1 from ebay. Ben Savage's dad sells them. their £16, great deal! :) ← Its me that runs Trialsman, not Fred. Ben.

Caleb
Were they not also meant to be bringing an armoured chainstay protector into production or was that bull shit? Cause would be useful if you think aboout it instead of riping staight throught the polythrene or what ever it is one.
Lee_Buchanan
Cleanbikes have bought the rest of the stock that they had left..... Lee
Andy Vox
I thought when i got my new frame, armadillo's look gay why get one. But they were 10 quid at the bike show so i thought ok ill get 1 just incase. I must admit it looks stupid but it saved my frame the day i got it, and its saved it many times since. I know that my frame is going to eventually get scratched then probably snapped but id rather that happen slowly. At least my down tube wont look like someone has been shooting a gun at it!" Armadillos rule, but look cack! :P

fifty pence
I just really cant see why you would use one because fair enough i love my bike and all but with trials you will dent it at some point if you dont want to dent it why not just leave it your living room in a big plastic bubble
Apollo13
I think there great little gadgets, they may not look great, but they do the job! Nick :)
thefletch
They are good, frames do get dented, its innevitable sp?. But having one will save you all the will knocks, and if you are planning on selling a bike, its a good thing to use
