rich4130
Yea, you just need something to 'plug up' the hole on the bb axel, so that the tool can press on it. 5p's are to soft. Try and find a bolt or something that will do the job. Washer etc, anything round and strong. Thats about everything yea?

STEVE-0
If you have any square nuts, they fit perfectly and work great! You just need something on the axle for the bolt to push on basically.
Matthews
I paid bloody £3.50 for plug tool from my lbs what a flaming skin up :( Mind it is rather soild and quite light
JT!
quite light ← Thats good, becuase those tools need to be light. :) Anyway, i used 2 or 3 5p's and i just ended up with a bent 15p coin :( . What i did is i got a nail, and slid it right down so it pushed against the bolt on the other side. It got the cranks of, but bent the shit out of it. So my dad got this metal rod out of a desil engine or something, realy toughf. I have used that ever since.
