Martin t
Well my friend ran out of threads on one of the holes for the magura. So i went out yesterday and took one of these from a lightpost that held up a trashcan (yes you can buy them but we didn't have time for that). Then we tightend it up to f00k and it works perfect. >_< (N)
Spikenipple
Is there much lateral movement with it? Obviously the bolt stops it moving sideways, but a jubilee clip is circular so there's more potential for sideways movement..
Martin t
I didn't say that, but we did put a bolt in after the pic was taken to keep it from moveing sideways.

Twilite
Ingenius! I'd give it plenty of testing before you rely to heavily on it though. Must be pretty damn tight to stop it just turning? Probably not be so good for the frame it's clenched around though, maybe you could put something between the frame and the clip? (I thought rubber but that'd flex I guess)
Martin t
Its an old frame (2000), and you tighten the "jubilee clip" first then the bolt.
trials_pimp
geez, what you young boys get up to. I would be very scoptical about boding brake parts. Tom Booth
HAHA im runing the jubilee bodge as we speak! Due to a mis-hap with an rb bolt (gay thing! cant get it out of my mounts!) Works well, untill your brake slips on a backwheel or something then the whole pad moves, sucks ass but works well for pause hops and the sort
Martin t
My friend has been running it for 1,5 day now and the brake hasn't moved at all, and he slipped on loads of stuff."
