Duck
Hi I have a pc that has some drivers missing for some hardware thats in the PC.I think its just the sound and graphics,i know the graphics is a ATI AGP card but not sure of the model, is there anyway of finding out? tank_rider
right click on my computer, then go to the hardware tab and click on the device manager button, then for the graphics card expand the display adaptors. It will tell you what adaptor it is, and if you right click on the adaptor you should be able to update the drivers through there.
The enchanted broomstick
if you are lucky just going to www.windowsupdate.com will help, do the usual scan and choose "select optional software updates" something like that anyway and if you are really lucky enough the windows update can sometimes recognise what hardware you have and what drivers are missing. It worked when my mate lost his sound card driver. hope that helps a little, stu ;)
Tomm
Unless it's more than about 4 years old, your graphics card (If it is, like you say, an AGP ATI card) will almost certainly be a Radeon. They all use the same drivers, so you don't need to know the exact model of your card. Look on the ATI site. I'll let you find it (Y)
sfboy
goto Start->Run and type in "dxdiag" for a comprehensive overview of your system
