Whiteboy
well what is the pitch of a mech hanger bolt? is it 1.5 or not? thanks
AdamR28
Not. M10 x 1.0. Unless you're talking about the bolt that holds the hanger onto the frame... in which case its M8x0.75, i think (standard chainring bolt)

guineasmithpig
best o luck buddy! let us know if u find a bolt, because i never managed to get hold o one in that size!!! think it was M10 x 1 thread, but even wholesalers din't stock em ;) neways, let us know where u get em from. wud be a useful reference (Y) smithy
Tomm
Also, the other bits are different. Mech bolts aren't threaded all the way down, and the amount of thread, the length, the thickness of the unthreaded bit all vary from one mech to another (I think). So you'll be lucky to find a random bolt that will fit your mech properly. On the other hand, if you're creating some crazy tensioner job, then 30mm sounds about right (Although maybe you should measure?).
Whiteboy
ok well found myself a bolt is 35mm or 40 or something so i will either cut it or just washers. so if anyone needs me can probabbly get one for bout 70p posted..
