Thinking Of A Change..

I'm thinking of changing my ashton 24 for something else, I feel like trying something different. Just wondering how I'll be able to cope with such a long frame compared to the ashton? I know its only 30mm, but it seems such a lot.

I'm not much good, but I'd like to try different things, a change is as good as a rest, and all that..

Got a 105mm stem on the ET, so If I have like an 80mm on the echo I'l still be able to throw it around abit? manual and still be able to bunnyhop it? not overly tall either, about 5'7 :-"

I suppose lots of people have made this change

so um, yea, cheers.

I used to ride a Base TA26 05 and now I got a Echo Pure1080 at first I wasn't sure but since I was getting the frame for 50 bar I shouldn't complain, any way when I got it and built up had a quick ride felt the same as the Base could do everything on it, streety moves, manualing seems easy aswell even though am pants at it but it does feel easier. Plus am 5'7 aswell :-

I really don't think the bike will benefit you in any way, You can do everything on a short bike but a long bike makes the things you want to do (bunnyhop/manual) that bit more awkward.

I think you should stay with the ET for a while see how it goes as you may regret getting rid of it to buy a bus.

You say its only 30mm but as you know that really means very little. TT length, head angle etc need to be taken into consideration.

Edit: Correction
