Video Camera Biz.

'lo all,

Basically, I've edited about 4 or 5 videos now and enjoy doing it. However, most of my video footage is taken using my stills video camera, so it's not super good quality. Coupled to this, I'm using Movie Maker 2.0, which only seems to do a few types of encoding.

Baaaaaaaaaasically, I'm thinking of getting a digital video camera majigger, but as has probably become apparent, I'm frickin' clueless. I don't really want to have to spend too much (£150-200 max), so has anyone got any advice for me?

Thanks for any help,

Mark.
