New Koxx Frames

Recommended Posts

I know a picture of the new levelboss has been posted before, and as for the 20" version im not so sure, i searched a few pages and didnt find anything else which showed these so here we go: I found them on OTN.

I'm not too sure on the 20" frame, but it might grow on me who knows.

As for the levelboss26 quite like, bit similar to another design we all know about but different.

Anyway discuss guys..oh and if this has been posted before, let me know and i'll delete it.

The Levelboss is sweet. I really like the design, aesthetically anyway. We shall have to see how it holds up. Don't like the mods though (Y)

Enough of the Koxx bashing too, It seems they've come up with something original, and good on them

Psychic: Mark, I mean as a whole, not in this thread (Y)

Haven't seen any Koxx bashing going on? Apart from about prices, but that's something aaaaaaaaaaaaaltogether different.

That Levelboss frame looks kinda nice like that, but it seems a bit sketch putting a whole load of force into the middle of the downtube? Meh, they know better than I do...

the 1st pic!!

weird!!!

the back rim looks like a front

i quite like that though (Y)  but in purple (Y)

I'd imagine its like that for demonstration purposes.

The frame does look kind of flimsy i agree but it could be good who knows?

hmmmm, that new levelboss design looks familular....

My design that I did a couple of years back, I scraped it when Tarty said the bb area wouldnt be strong enough.

copying is the best form of flatterey (Y)"

(disclamer: This post is not serious, I am sure its just a coincidence)

Ps sorry about the size

Hmm the Levelboss 26" looks ok, but i dont see the point in having it like that  I dont think it will be stronger and probably not lighter. Fair enough they may just be "jazzing" up the design for 2005...

As for the mod frame, i dont like it, it looks very dodgy (Y)

Are they changing the XTP 26" frame for 2005?

Stan.

well would think that the bb area wouldnt be strong enough it will have a hard job of holding up to the strenght of the old one. similar to the new t-mag i think there will be problems there with there bb's falling off time will tell  i do like the lood of them though and would buy one, as the koxx strengh has been proven and no doubt been tested by some of the worlds best trial riders (Y)

they are too of worse looking frames i have seen in a long time! I am sure the geo is spot on. but why the kinked seat tube on the mod and sure they have beefed up the bb area on stock, but whats wrong with a plain old seat tube.

looks like an exercise in pointlessness to me

Yeah, they are both the front 20" rims. (Y) That bike's aimed more at the beginner (read: small kids) market, whilst still having decent parts. (Y)

Also, i was led to believe that the stock bike isn't the "new levelboss", infact currently just an un-named prototype.

Looks interesting, but it obviously seems to just be another "sales pitch", something different to make it sell well. It might not even come out yet...

Mike.

Edit: Beaten to it...

Which means that it actually could be the new levelboss, as it has not been updated.

They could release it as a new frame, if it succeeds to prove itself as a good stong design that is. Who knows, but i think it will be the updated levelboss eventually.

I don't understand why they've put a kinked two piece seat tube on the mod.

They're introducing a weak point where there is no need. I can see any advantage or reason why they'd do that, except to make it distinctive.

ali, you are a legend!

those pictures are well accurate! and i just love the mod picture :">

as for the chain tensioner on the mod, i dont think it would work unless its really beefy, it needs to be on the underside and further back on the chainstay imo.

anyways, fair doos!
