Crc Belt Spray

Hi,

I want to get some of this stuff cos Ive heard good things about it from a couple of people on here, but I cant get it in my local DIY shop.

Where can you get it from, and how much does it cost?

Do you need to go to a big place like B&Q or something?

Also, how would people describe its affects on braking, and how long does it last?

Cheers,

Scott

i have got a tiny tiny bit on., it squeaks alot when u put it on, i am not using the CRC one though i am using another brand.

anyway if u put too much it will still squeak but when u hold the brake u would beable to make the wheel slip if u know what i mean? i did taht and had to use degreaser to get some off.. now its working prefect using for abt a week now and used in light rain with little effect on my braking.

however.. some people who have rode my bike have said that they can feel it slip slightly when their on edges of things and stuff.; i have found it to be the best brake i have had since the slipping either doesnt affect me or i am just too used to slipping anyway. hope that helps..

on my can it says belt slip btw.. got mine from a local car spare shop..

I tried this stuff a little while ago and you had to get the amount so precise or brake would just slid on a film of the stuff.

oh and if you think tar turns bad when water gets to it you haven't seen nothing yet (Y)

don't do it to much hassle for not much gain

Nah i wouldnt want to wreck its lovely anodised metal cheeseness, and I wouldnt want to anyway.

Doesnt anyone use the actual CRC stuff?

Not being funny, but your question just sounds ludacris to anyone here who values a good brake. It wont work. It will be good for 2 seconds then will go shitty again. Either use a clean rim, or a grind. Even with a clean rim and some good pads, you will never have the same hold as with a grind. Stop being a fag and go out and buy a grinder
