Mark W
Hey, I'm trying to get a new front rim for my T-Pro. I want it to be silver (or blue, black as a proper last resort), drilled and not uber expensive. Can anyone give me a few examples? So far, I've only *really* found the Try-All drilled rim in silver to kinda match what I want, but it's like £35 from Cleanbikes, which is a bit more than I was looking to spend. Anyone got any other suggestions? I'm tempted by the Echo semi-drilled front rim from Select for £22.50, but I wanna check my options first. Thanks for any help, Mark
JT!
What about monty hydra's? I know they arent drilled, and they arnt silver. :ermm: but they would suit a t-pro nicely. :o EDIT: Actualy, i don't think they do them any more, just looking on cleanbikes. :) Edited March 27, 2005 by JT! Well, that and a front Creepy Crawler, but you know where you are when you're trying to get a Creepy... Thanks anyway, Mark
JT!
Someone didn't read the question :o ← I did but i thought i'd just suggest that one. You don't have to have a matching front wheel. I think the only silver, drilled rim you can get is the tryall one. :ermm: BTW what are those pedals? Edited March 27, 2005 by JT! Who knows till oyu try one yourself. (p.s there azonic x pedals JT!) Cheers Tom

Steve-A
Dont dis the forks, they are amazing. I've never seen a set of forks flex less than Fall Guys, when there is a 14st trials rider front hopping on them. Not me I'm only 9st :S If you want silver and drilled Koxx/Jiz are looking like your only options unfortunately. On the other hand buy any rim, drill big holes and paint is silver :o :S
Mark W
That'd be a bit too ghetto for my liking, Steve :o They are freaking cool forks. They've given it a slightly higher front end, so it feels more BMXy, which is all for the good. Anyhoo, does anyone know if Cleanbikes are going to be at the show? Or anyone selling Koxx products? I'm guessing NSE might be, but I didn't know the state of play... Are the Try-All/Koxx rims any good at all? Mark
JT!
Are the Try-All/Koxx rims any good at all? ← I run the tryall front rim, does the job, seems nice and light. If you get the sliver one, and run a maggie, its dosnt look stupid as the paint dosnt come off, like one the colourd ones. :o Edited March 28, 2005 by JT! Mark W
I was thinking of Koxx/Try-All, but do they take a grind well/not die immediately?
Wayne-king
erm...it should be ok on the front. my V!Z rim didn't hold grinds on the rear, but i think try-all's are a bit better
JT!
I was thinking of Koxx/Try-All, but do they take a grind well/not die immediately? ← Would you want to grind the front rim? I never see the need.

JT!
Haha, nice pic. I prefer the modulation myself, they do hold grinds, but just not as long.

wally
Silver echo drilled rim. I had one a while back, single wall, with eyelets, nice and light, a very good rim. Found some on ebay for £20. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...item=7142310724 Sounds perfect  Edited March 30, 2005 by wally
