dan i have had my viz rim for like 4 months now and i really like it.

seriously. its taken my weight and my abuse.

Biased opinion?" I only say after looking at your advata and signature......

On topic a Viz rim will fit in a pure with a maxxis tyre, as thats what James Porter is/was running , but I'm not sure which width of tyre he was using.

At the same time in my opinion you would be much better going for an Echo cnc'd rim, they seem very nice, and made of a material that holds a grind better.

I think this is the sort of question that could have easilly been answered on msn, not really a forum quaestion, because as soon as 1 person says they can you know it is possible to run this tyre in this frame. It isn't really open to debate mearly yes or no.

There may also be a sticky concerning tyres and frames which is bound to have info for an Echo Pure.

i didnt actually say it was shit dan :P . well i spose i sort of emplied it but i didnt say it out right :P they are OK rims, but arent they just tryall rims with eyelets? which we know are poo so you can kind of work with that...

mine has pissed me off.

my first viz rim lasted ONE week before being litterally square (thats the one i use in engage video 5) so it did take quite a beating. but still one week for £35 (Y) .

i am using these 05 ones with the octagonal holes now and lets just say it isnt square and thank the lord i am getting an echo rim haha.

a 2.5 maxxis minion on a wide viz rim fits FINE in the pures, just to clear that up with anyone else.

and what are peoples problems with dan posting a topic like this? he just wants to make sure that it will be allright as he doesnt want to be messing around sending stuff back etc. im not having a go at anyone, but come on , this is a forum...
