Twilite
Lovely. As always, the holes are a bit suspect, but I'm sure they did their research! I'm looking to buy me a Control to replace my useless frame. May be worth holding out to get one of the new models, what do you think? Just a case of missing a little sunny riding while the release dates get pushed further and further back. (What's up with the Echo site recently??) TheMunn
Leigh, don't bother waiting because you will be saying that for year's, just get the control that's out now and ride.
Tomm
Explain adam, ive never heard this? Summers just starting at my work place. ← As in: If they say it will be out in May, it'll probably actually be so delayed that we won't see it till the end of summer (Y)
Shaun H
Off the Echo website (Y) "HIFI" is a new model for 2005. Since the BB is 55mm higher than wheel axles. 55mm BB high give chain stays a 8.5 degreed angle with the ground, same as 20" bikes, we call it "Chain stay angle". With 8.5 degreed chain stays angle, you can control the rear wheel easier, and pull the front wheel up easier. Higher body position and large BB clearance. This frame has 26" big wheels and 20" feeling, a new concept to trials sport. The new CNC head tube looks different and no weak point. A forward seat tube give less torque to the brake mount. The brake mount is one piece CNC from a solid aluminum block. All new design. New design CNC dropout give a smooth looking. Geometry (400mm fork blade with 45mm forward, 10mm bottom head set): Wheel base: 1085mm only Head tube: 120mm / 71 degreed Bottom bracket: 68mm / 55mm higher Chain stays length: 375mm And in regards to the earlier posts about stems :) We have a "HIFI" stem (130mm/30 degreed) for this frame. andyroo
Isn't this the second echo team frame for 2005? Seems a bit like the control and team (first ones) have been brushed away a bit quick to make way for new models

Seems a bit like the control and team (first ones) have been brushed away a bit quick to make way for new models ← Well i know control's have been around for nearly a year... Nothing wrong with fast progression anyway. (Y) Edited April 1, 2005 by fatmike
Twilite
Leigh, don't bother waiting because you will be saying that for year's, just get the control that's out now and ride. ← Yeah, that's what I thought. I'll just go with the current one. A couple of people have posted things they've got "off the Echo website". Well here, the Echo website is full of broken pictures and dead links. Is there another site I don't know about? EDIT: Never mind. Either it's been updated since I last looked, or my browser was trying to display a cached version or something, it's fixed now. Thanks. RicH_87
just going by the pictures i prefer the look of the control and the current Team, more than those. I'm sure like most echo frames they be nice anyway. Is it just me or are frames becoming less 'bike like' and more like a specialist tool?? for me there's something just nicer about pulling loads of 'tricks' on a regular looking bike, that way its more impressive and more satisfying all in one. zoojames
Am I the only person who thinks these frames look wank? I mean what are echo thinking it's a trials frame not a weld off with koxx... Bring back the tubing get rid of the cnc brick poo and then I'll ride it... maybe... James :-
BI-KING
They are well nice, and they look even better with them built in boosters, plus they will be stiff as fu** :-"
