right i've just bled my system and even done perfectly with new oil the pads take a while to return. the brake works but not that quick, yeah i know oil is slower than water but this is alot slower than oil should be and yes i've used the right oil...

can anyone tell me how you clean out the slaves because i'm sure its just all the shit thats clogged up in there making them move slow, will i have to strip them and re bleed the system or can i clean the slaves some other way?

any help mucho appreciated >_<

ps: if you can tell me before the weekend it'd help so i can actually get some riding done at the indoor event this weekend...

i'm sure i could but i'd like to know if thats the way to do it or not. i see little point in doing it wrong and f**king it up, i'd rather try and find someone who has the answer and ask them

thanks for the idea though  :ermm:

That's fine mate! Ask Tarty, he knows the answer to everything! >_< (N)

tarty told me to clean the slaves by attaching a pump fitting to a bleed tube (a decent pump obviously) and blowing all the crap out the other hole in the slave (if you get what i mean) if you have been running water before, this sometimes causes the brake to clog up becuase magura fluid does not absord water, so it sepetaes out into blobs and makes a lovely mess  just dont try to clean the inside of the slaves with WD40, water etc

hope this makes sence! it's too early, so i cant explain it very well!
