Dr. Nick Riviera
any bearings , they honestly make no real difference , ricta wheels are good , tensor trucks are the best but not a must have , only for real tech stuff do they make a difference , lucky hardware is great , naked ladys are great too . as for a deck get a routeone blank , the same wood as enjoi , blind etc and monster mouls concave for like 30 quid less hope that helped
JonMack
Get Silver Trucks. Ricta Air Cores blow up so don't get them. I dunno much about desks or woodpushing in general but my sisters bf used to work at one of sk8-shop.co.uks actual shops so he knows what he's on about. butcha87
to be honest, you could get away with riding blank wheels, blank deck(liking the sound of the route1!),some venture trucks(best truck imo),any hardware(diamond supply co,shortys, and black magic griptape.Bearings are so not important, something like 1 pound NMB's will serve you better than high maintanance brand name bearings. Get what you want though!I really like the shape and pop of Chocolate/Girl decks.Flip are quite wank and heavy, and some elements have really nice pop,and are light as fook(not too strong however). If you want slightly cheaper decks,go for some homegrown British decks,Blueprint are the best ones i think. Max Quinn
i used to skate till i realised i was rubbish so decided to be rubbish at BMX and trials to :P. Had a zero 3skulls deck on grindking trucks, spitfire wheels, and the speed demon abec 5 clear shield bearings. I really liked that zero deck but i know quite a few people who didn't. Chris@Onza rider
Well I was just around my mates house and we were talking about me getting a new deck and he said "Hey do you want my old element?" i was like "YEAH !!!" So he gave me his old Element, not quite sure what one it is pink but is not "have a Bam day". It has red Fracture trucks, Lucky hardware, not sure on the bearings and it has Jessops grip tape. It is so kool. So I have been skating around on that for the past 4+ hours. It is so nice to flip and manuel. There are some lovely people in the world. Chris@Onza rider
He he Unit one is the same as demon skate. All they have done is repaint the shop? And then they lowered the price to something like £8 for a 2 hr session. I mean WTF? I personaly prefer Sittingbourne. Not as many people better lay out and frendlier staff and at £.50 it is a great deal cheaper. The only bad thing is that it is on top of Milton, AKA Pikeville so sittingboure is good if you come back alive. Although evoloution or revoloution cant remember it at the moment. That is the coolest skate park I have been. Tom
