holroyd-wanna-be Posted March 10, 2005 Report Share Posted March 10, 2005 Alright im wanting to clean the inside of my hub with the axle still in place and was wondering if it ok to blast the ratchet ring with degresser and wash it out and dry it then relube the bearings from the other side? Danny Posted March 10, 2005 Report Share Posted March 10, 2005 If its a hope then ive used GT85 and Disk Brake cleaner to clean out mine before. Just try not to flush all the grease out the bearing at the same time :turned: I use a drop of light engine oil in my hub.
