nb88
Mmm, monty rims... Bent outwards all the way round 1 side of the rim, with 3 lovely cracks on it like that one ^. Monty rule

thefletch
Mate you cant realy blame monty for that. If you've managed to f**k the metal itself, as that aint exactly all down to the rim desgin, then you must have beaten it pretty hard, or you weight 30stone+ and like thin things
Tartridge
To be fair, looks like thats had a LOT of grinds - sidewall looks very thin.

CH!P
Lol... Ad beat me to it. Like he says, it looks like it's had alot of grinds... Monty rims arent the best strength wise anyway. Get a Ronnie!
JT!
My friends monty rim was pants, and he realy didn't ride hard on it, it dented, and buckeld it and alsorts. And then the hub snapped. Mind you in saying that he is on his 3rd t-mag frame. I like the looks of the echo rims. Edited March 7, 2005 by JT! trialsking 55
my x-lite rim f**ked up big time! it had 2 grinds the sidewalls hadnt got any narrower or anything but it had 4 cracks - tonnes of dents - and in the end it just died, in the form of a flatspot meaning my tyre just pops right off

Scott@eastcoasttrials.com
i know someone whos done pretty much the same thing with the same rim...but it did have about 20grinds on it and it was a fair few years old
DangerousDave
You have to remember that a lot of the monty parts are made to be light. Its like when people say how much stronger a levelboss is than an xlite. Well no frigin shit its stronger. Its got another pound of aluminum on it. Both Monty and Try all rims use very soft aluminum. I'll stick to my dx-19 thanks...
