rocktrials
solo cashcards.....if you preorder something with them, does it take your money out straight away or does it take your money away when say the game is released? cheers
Sam Nichols
It's nothing to do with the card you have. You need to check with the company you pre-ordered the game from. Some companies take a deposit, some debit your account when they dispatch the item and others charge you the full amount as soon as you pre-order it. I think we need a new avatar or abbreviation for this type of situation... GTC - Give Them a Call
JTM
Anal keeps telling me its illegal for a company to take your money when you dont have the goods, its either bollocks or some companies dont adhere to it very much
Tomm
It's illegal for companies to take money out of your account for something that hasn't been despatched yet. I think deposits are different, though.

I think deposits are different, though. ← Well surely they have to charge your card before the goods have been despatched, because what if you get declined? I think they have to physically have the goods first and have the intention of despatching it. Something along those lines.

Maybe it's just as simple as they must dispatch it on the same day as they take payment.
Michael Hardman
They can tell when a card is declined from the info you give so if its declined they will say through email or something.
