mavic
Hay all, Well i have had my hope mono rear hub for about 1.5 years, andit has run amazing for that time, untill the other week when i started having some trouble. i will try and exsplain :) I was riding down a hill to town and the hub started getting stuck ( only when free wheeling) then i would have to pedal for a bit to un stick it, the hub now catches on what seems a point in side and the chain jolts :) , i have no problem with engagements or anything but i think its gonna die soon. i think i will have to send it back to good old hope. But what is it lads is the free wheel going??? i have givern it a survice and have found that i am missing 1 engagement tooth but mmm. helps fellow trials riders ( as you can see im not too good with hubs.). thanks ecodan. matt_urban
the spings some times wind around the freehub body and make it stick :)
AdamR28
Faire enough mr tart (Y) You know what is causing this to happen though just woundering. ← :) Yep, harsh landings (well, trials in general). The axle flexes, causing the freehub body to slam into the ratchet. Their new hub will help prevent this, should be a lot tougher :)
