Alexxx
Well basically we was playing football and i pushed this kid but not over he hardly moved his older brother came running over from behind, didn't know he was coming jumped punched me twice in the back took me to the ground and kicked me twice in the face so now i have a massive shiner. Now what i want to know is if it is classed as assault as i don't want to waste police time, they've already been told as it happened at school in lunch but was wondering if anything can be done by the police as all that the school did was exclude him for 10days even though our head teacher said you get in a fight your out the school. My eye Alex P.S sorry for not posting this in the chav/pikie sticky thingy
Dr. Nick Riviera
not much they can do really but a police man once gave me some very wise words " im not in uniform , deck the c*nt " but definetly do ring up and get a crime number / make a complaint

Trials Punk
Definatly ABH. Not GBH though. Tell the police ASP they can sort something out. Maybe a few days in the cells, a fine or most probabbly community service. You could sue him, would be a wise desicion as I can't see any satisfaction in community service. Anyway thats my half penny.
rich4130
Hmm yea, a mate of mine got punched my a 6th former for some reason, he got the police involved, something came of it, can't remember what though :(" I think the 'in uniform' thing replies to like tittle tatle and like bullying etc that wasn't bullying, it was assault. Quite funny this week, a guy in the year above me (he's 18) beat up this chav kid from london in year 10 who went round stealing phones, and the teachers all turned a blind eye hehe. Lukeee
Does no one settle it the old fashion way? How old are you and how old is this 'older brother' of his? I wouldn't contact the Police. i wouldn't even tell the School..... First peice of advice. Stick up for yourself. No matter how big or older he is don't let people treat you like that. Second peice of advice. Find out where he lives. Wait a few weeks. Then get you and yours mates to take your moneys worth out on anything hes connected to. Cars , house etc. Really do some f-ucking damage.

If you go round twatting cars and houses, you cannot complain if/when you get in trouble for it! Stick up for yourself, perhaps. But going round smashing things? That's stupid, if you do that, you're a dumb scally.

I would personally rather have a black eye and deal with it than be a dumb scally (). But if you don't wanna do that, perhaps fight back next time you get attacked (if you get the chance) - as soon as they realise you aren't gonna just roll over and take a beating every time they feel like it, they will probably give up and find someone smaller than you to pick on. JTM
When I bought my current car from some people in Wales, After about 4 hours of driving it, it needed £350 worth of stuff doing to it when it was seemingly "fine" when I bought it. They were obviously dodgy as it apparently had a 10 day old MOT.......hmm yes....I was shocked when my dad said to me "Ring him up and say to him that you want him to pay at least half the the repair costs. If he says no, put the phone down and we will take it outta his windows." I was surprised as that didnt sound like my dad! But I think it stems from when he used to work in a garage and would hear bout this sort of thing happeneing to mates all the time, and he just really despises people who do it. Bit off topic there.......

If everyone went around retaliating to things in either of the manners you've outlined society would very quickly crumble and fall to pieces - I don't know about you, but I certainly wouldn't want to live in a society where it was deemed acceptable for people to take the law into their own hands. Sure, the response from the authorities may sometimes be infuriatingly lacking in the eyes of the victims, but I think this is an annoyance we all have to live with whilst we still live in an inperfect world. I suppose it's a little different when we're talking about "playground politics", but mission_reefer_rider isn't exactly a kid anymore. I think 16 is more than old enough to start dealing with these things like an adult, which in my opinion means walking away from a fight where possible and minimising any violence wherever you can. The legal concept of 'reasonable force' is very applicable here.

If I did, I have no idea how I'd react though. ← It's always worked for me too. When I was at school I used to get a hell of a lot of hassle from people, but by just walking away from things it never actually escalated to violence. Actually that's not quite true, I think I once got punched by some random drunk who was giving me abuse, but I turned around and walked away from that so it didn't escalate any further. Had I tried to "stand up for myself" I probably would have got the crap beaten out of me.
MadManMike
When I was at school, if there was someone in the year above, they were considered "harder". When you leave school your attitude changes. I don't consider myself "hard" one bit, but a man of any age could start on me now and i'd defend myself. You'll look back on this occasion and wonder why you didn't kick six shades of **** out of him. Unlucky anyway man
Tomm
I would say that 90% of violoence in this country results from people "sticking up for themselves" - I.e when someone knocks someone else's drink over, and the boys have to fight to show who's boss
nbr-chris
Posts like this always turn in to people trying to show how "hard" they are saying you should go and kick the sh*t out of them and stuff. Its not actually going to get you anywhere. Get it sorted properly then if they start again afterwards report it again. At the end of the day if you start on them you've got no chance of sorting stuff properly and even if they did get arrested or something they will still have mates, if it stays between you and him it wont go any further, if you fight back he'l probably end up getting an enitire gang of people to jump ou then you really will be farked. I'm not saying you should just sit and tak all the crap he can throw at you but if you drop to there level it'l only get worse

And in 9 out 10 cases its better to just walk away but this kid has done Mission Rider some real damage. Arrested?! He'll get told off and thorwn out of school for 10 days thats it. nbr-chris
My post wasn't aimed at you Luke, just a general point that posts like this do turn in to almost a competition on who has the most violent revenge. If you report it to the police and hes allready on a warning or something its possible he'd get a bit more than a few days off school so its worth contacting them, if he does get a warning it also means if he does anything else to you or anyone he's more likely to be dealt with properly. If you went and did what he's done to you back you'd probably end up worse off so its not worth it
UrbanPoet
I don't see what all this hard man talk is meant to prove. Ring the Police, make a statement and it'll all be over with. Taking matters into your own hands will ONLY result in more trouble. Either with him causing more hassle with you, or him getting some mates to cause hassle. People actually listen to the Police and they'll know better than to f**k with you after it. I don't see why any other action needs to be considered? That's ABH, case closed.
