Ok..right

i hae just inserted the NEW simcard i got with it...all works fine and dandy, like i can send pic msg's..

So y cant my old sim do that...??

You need to download the settings for the sim card / phone!

Have a look around the Orange website.. Somewhere it (should) have something about your internet and picture messaging settings with links to get them sent straight to your phone!

I had to download them for my new 6230 (T-Mobile) today because I couldn't recieve or send picture messages... Only took 5mins! They came through and installed straight away!

Cheers frika, but i cant find it anywhere on the orange site  :(

Are you logged onto it?

I had to register and online account with T-mobile and get the settings from the member section..

Try that, but don't blame me if I'm wrong!

Have a look through google or something too..

I had the same problem with my new phone.

In the end I just used the new sim card, because as Em explained, the old sim card didn't have the capabilities to be able to send or recieve picture messages, no matter how many times I rang T-Mobile, and went on the website.

I'd suggest that's what you do too. You could always get the number ported, so you keep your current details
