Chris@Onza rider
Well I have two questions to ask so here I go. I am looking for a new BMX frame I was looking at something from KINK but as I do not ride that much a KINK would be a waste. I want something long and preferably street dirt and a lil bit of park (or whatever you call it now). I have looked at a few federals but I am told that they are quite heavy (I kniow weight is not the most important thing in BMX but I wouldnt mind a light bike). I am not planning on spending mega bucks but I would like something decent and good value for money. Also are ipods worth the money and are the mini ipods any good?Whatever thay are called. but are they as good as they are said to be? Thankyou for your patience and thankyou for your help. Tom ← I've got the mini ipod and i realy find it 100% better than my 256mb mp3 player for £170 or whatever they are now its amazing value ive had mine since september and everytime i go out i have to have it with me. Trust me its the best way to spend £170 great value (Y)

I have never really had a "real" bmx if you know what I mean I have had loads of haro's (Y) because I could get them cheap. And now I have a DK and a DMR. Actually the DMR has the nicest geo ever 14mm rear axel (was 10) And it is actually realy nice. I have always thought about bmx but have always got distractedby Trials. Mike Deere
Pretty much all of the iPod range are WAY over priced, and are actually much worse quality than people think. They have the highest failure rate per thousand of ANY mp3 player on the market, they have less features than other players, and cost more. So... are they really worth paying more for? To be honest, they'd be worth paying less for. As opposed to an iPod Mini, you'd be far better off with a Creative Zen Micro which has 5Gb capacity, is more sturdily built, sexier, sports a much better battery, has more features and can even record live radio. Not to mention it is also much cheaper.

mcajh
I had an iPod (20gb), went back after about 1/2months. Swapped it for a Sony NW-HD1 and its much better. I payed £200 for it (good old staff discount at argos), MUCH better than iPod. They are reduced at work to £150 which is a bargain but I doubt you will find one left in any store. The only problem with the NW-HD1 is that it only supports Atrac-3, songs have to be converted first so it takes a little longer to transfer tracks, but can be sent to sony for an upgrade for £15 so it supports MP3. BONGO
i'd get a fly pantera if i were you. http://www.alansbmx.com/product_info.php?c...roducts_id=1690 i have had one. Sure it only last 10 months, but thats me. i have some nice falls. I cringe most of the time when i see my bike bouncing 10 meters away from where i fell. I was so in love with the ride of the pantera i now have another. You can have my 1st for 40 quid if you like. You'll see how it rides etc and get a while out of it. I rekon you'll easy have another year if you can get it welded. 2 cracks on the top of the seat stays. (pics if you want). Easily weldable, not twisted or bent. 21"tt, euro BB. so either mine, or a new pantera are my recomendations. Or look at the new federals as they are really good frames now (2005 ones). Even this... http://www.alansbmx.com/product_info.php?c...roducts_id=1933 i know a few awesome riders on these including Jon Taylor of course and Baz Keep. Can't blame the frame if they have the same!!! john
