Really cant decide what one to buy, Im not getitng an Ipod as there a fashion item and are crap.

I just need to decide whether i really need 20k of songs of if 2.5k will be enough.

The micro is only 3 by 2inchs in size as big as my phone.

I can get the micro in any colour aswell, (black, white, pink, dark blue, light blue, orange, green, silver etc......)

Link to all the colours

I like the way that they've completely kicked the ipod mini for touch with all the features- 50% longer battery life, easily replaceable battery, more choice of colours (I think!)

1,250 songs (83 hours) at 128 kbps is more than enough and the all important thing is the size really if the other boxes are ticked (Y)

2500 songs actually, it compresses better than an ipod

No it doesn't. They both use the same compression (MP3) really. Unless you're a loser and you use wma (Zen) or AAC (iPod). Just go on size (MB) and the Micro wins. Listening at 64kbps on wma would be shit, to be honest. Wma is all shitty and crackly at the best of times. Just use MP3 (Y)

The Micro is very nice if you only need 5GB. I think they have a radio and some other good stuff. They're cool. However, they are more expensive than the 30GB version of the Zen Xtra, which is pretty stupid.

Well how does the zen 20gb store more than the 20gb i pod.

Also your paying for size rember.

I will never find 2500 songs to store so it will do me and i can use it to store my uni work on which is useful

Ive bought 2 one in black and one in silver impulse buyer or what

Because it compresses it more. People who go by the "number of songs" it can hold should be shot. Actually, that's a bit extreme, people are just ignorant and being fed shit by Apple/Creative/Sony etc. If you use 64kbps wma, yes, you can store twice as many songs as at 128kbps MP3. It'll sound shit though. Seeing as everyone just uses MP3 anyway, just go by the size. Right click your music folder and go properties. Find out how much is there. See if it'll fit.

Anyway, it's too late, you've already bought it. I think that's the right choice though. But why did you get 2?

I would say the 5gb one because to br fair not many people can listen to 20gb of songs "i think"

You're probably right. I have 24GB on mine at the moment, but that includes nearly all my CDs. I like having all my music on it, so I can play any song I'm thinking of (Y)
