Trials Tom
I'm at home now, at 1 O'clock because school's been cancelled because of all the snow, except for a few people that are re-taking their modular science exams! Who else has/had a day of school or College?

haydon_peter
I miss school aswell! School was the easy life. At the time I didnt really like it that much, I used to refuse to go [i think that was back in year 9]... Enough of that I dont want to talk about that. But now looking back to school it was great, everything planned out for you, sports for 3 hours a week, and hanging about with loads of great people! Enjoy school while it lasts! D-L-B
im a dropout and quit school.... lol. i would be in year 11 right now though. ← If that's meant to be a boast, you really don't realise how stupid you sound. You may think it's great now, but you'll regret it so much in a year or two when you have to start all over again while everybody else has careers and are getting paid or are getting an education. I know you're going to say that it was the right thing for you to do so you could "concentrate on your riding career" or whatever, but that doesn't sound like a realistic prospect to me. No intention to offend but if your riding was going to provide any kind of sustainable lifestyle for you in the future you'd be alot further up in the sport than you are now. And even the people who do 'make it' are hardly rolling in cash, and it aint gonna last forever. Dan

I stayed through school, got 7 over C GCSE's blah blah blah, have loads of qualifications that show application to things (emergency FR, lifeguard, scuba-diving, etc) and I'm still totally stoked for a job, let alone a f**king career option!! Education is bollocks all in all, even after getting twat loads of qualifications, degree's and so on, you still start at the bottom, and work your way up. RicH_87
indeed. in the end it's about how good you are at your JOB not how good you were at school.

I would agree that you still have to work your way up, but qualifications allow you to start higher. Its a fact that graduates have higher starting salaries. aust
not a boast at all. seems as though you cant say anything without getting flamed on this forum. keep shit like that to yourself. i stopped going to school for many personal reasons. not just because i wanted to do do a job that if i mention the name of it will take the seriousness out of this rant:P. and what is if you where gonna make money out of my riding career if be a lot higher up than i am now ?? im not sure what thats trying to imply. nothing to do with my riding to be fair mate so get your facts straight
