well bascially i read this article saying that hacking devices etc are becomeing more sophisticated and that in the next 2 years, home and small businesses would prorbablly be victims to computer crime due to them being unable to afford the required higher level of protection to prevent it.

i cant really remember what the article said but i do know its to do with viruses and losing lots of money..

this kinda got stuck in my head... just wondering if there is anything we should be worried about? ie like ebay accounts or paypal? just online shopping... ?

sorry if its abit stupit... :">

Just sounds like people being paronoid to me. Future operating systems will have more advanced protection. 128bit encryption still hasnt been broken and as soon as it is everyone will simply switch to 256bit but i dont see that it will be broken anytime soon.

Hackers are just fat dicks who cant get a job, so they hack peoples pc's for fun oh the joy :ermm: or summing it down to one word "losers".

Thanks.

Richie.

erm no not at all most "hackers" are much more cleverer than yourself and have some top IT jobs I know for a fact that a person I know used to cause havoc with different things ( not naming anything) and has a degree in computer science. But releasing viruses and trojans etc are just bad and the people/groups who do this must be prosecuted shame there isnt much law on the ol'internet

My old boss knew someone who would hack into banks computers, leave a message saying that they had hacked in, give us £5000 and we'll tell you how to fix the problem and stop people getting in.

Or something similar, was a while ago he told me.
