Tartridge Posted March 1, 2005 Report Share Posted March 1, 2005 They wear quickly at the corners - due to the pads rocking a fair bit in the cylinders (this is what causes the good bite ('wedging' of the rim) and loud noise (lots of vibration)). Once the corners had rounded, I found the amount of hold they gave to decrease somewhat, and which meant grinding/cutting them flat again.
