trialsguru
does anyone know if maxxis will release a 26" creepy crawler, i think it would be awesome, maxxis grip with a proven tread pattern
TomN
Same here I want them to come in 26" aswell, like the tread pattern.
JT!
Dont think so, the greatness of the creepy crawlers should be wasted on you stock rider. Haha. Nah, it would be good though. There isn't realy one tyre that tops all the other stock tyres. :( Edited February 24, 2005 by JT!
Phatmike
What's wrong with the 2.5" minion, dual ply, super tacky? Pretty much same tyre, slightly different tread pattern, still gripd damn well!
JT!
Your never going to get a tyre anything like the creepy crawler as, they are thinner and bigger. Even if you tryed to change the creepy crawler, it would be compleatly different when you finished.
Ali C
I have heard rumours that there will be a 26" virsion, although I would still probably prefer to run a high roller or minion
Mark W
It'd basically be the Echo SupaTrial tyre, but actually grippy, maybe?
Ali C
I just aint impressed with the tread pattern of the creepy, the blocks are too close together and block in mud. would be awesome for rocks and dry conditions though
TheMunn
I really wish they would release such a tyre !

RyanMcVicker
26 version would be cool... anyone use michelin comp 24.1 ?
SebJT
Michelin comp 24.1 a very nice tyre had mine for almost a year, very grippy and never got a puncture... Replaced it with a maxxis high roller this morning, will see what theyre like properly on sunday, first impressions real good though, had a quick ride out around campus in the wet didnt slip once (Y) Seb
Boothy
I would like to see them as well, but I don't think they would be as good in a 26" version, as it would be very difficult to make the same tread pattern, as it is a 20" pattern, and making it 26" would mean the tyre would be very wide, probably to wide for may frames. Pork Pie
I dunno, i'd have thought it'd be possible. The treads on the Maxxis's are fairly big anyway, so you could probably achieve a similiar type thing by reducing the size of the actual treads? Although, it'd probably fit anyway :) and there's nothing wrong with the other Maxxis tyres (Y)" Edited February 26, 2005 by Dave Gill
trialsguru
yer but its just a nice trial specfic tread pattern which is proven and work well, other maxxis tyres are fine but its nice to try new things, stops you from getting bored with your bike
colly
like every one says there nothing wrong with the high roller tyre mine has proved exelent no pinches etc i dont think a creepy crawler would grip as well as a high roller, the tread dosnt look as agressive
Stan Shaw
Yeah i agree, theres not much need to make a 26" version. Although it would be interesting to see if it'd be any good. The Minion dual ply 40a reezay 2.35 is my favorite tyre for the rear, may try a 2.5 next. Stan.
