*OnzaMike*
I had mine like that, it worked well, then i moved my computer around so i had all 5 speakers facing me :ermm:, but someone trapped the cable in the door when we were having central heating replaced, so the "rear" speakers dont work any more :-. Todge
Put 2 in your left ear, 2 in your right ear, and look at the other one directly in front of you :ermm:

JTM
By putting the sub in the corner you can alter the bass, giving it more "punch". Also, if its an actual sub, as opposed to a central low frequency speaker, then it would be better to have it on the floor, not on the cabinet, which i THINK you have done? Ingram
i have it on my computer stand in the middle (monitor being on top, ps2 being underneath)
JTM
can you get us a pic of where its situated?
andyroo
The positioning is fine, make sure, the front speakers are the same distance away from you, as with the rear. Rotate them, so if the sound was drawing a line through the air, lines would cross just in front of you for the front speakers and for the rear. Centre speaker directly under the tv, and your sorted! Sub somewhere off to the side, out of the way, on the floor. Andy Edited February 24, 2005 by andyroo
JTM
Erm.are you taking the piss with that pic?! Look at the name of the file and the description......... Rear speakers shouldnt "point" towards the user. They should be around 3ft behind them, 2ft higher than them, and be aimed across the room. Not aimed down or up or forwards. Just horizontal

The speakers arent tipped back anyway, its perspective And the height of the speakers wants to be when the tweeters are level with your ears. And it means worst like 5.1 is the worst and 7.1 is the best Edited February 24, 2005 by andyroo
