bigman_lil_bike
Just asking Because people are always saying that bikes look the same now! all riding simialr frames echos zoos and koxx's ! and people say they are bored! But i think the people that say this are still just following a trend! Dont have their hubs the same colour for indivduality but because everyting thinks it looks good! so how indivdual is your bike really? Luke Drewery
My bike isnt really very individual, its just a levelboss 1065 destickered with a red and silver colour scheme, red hopes front and rear, red middleburn pro trials, red dmr v8 pedals, sliver frame, forks etc you get the idea (Y)

Burton
My python has mostly got silver parts; hubs f+r, forks, cranks, rims, spokes. and has a carbon bar+black stem. BUT its has a green spokey dokey to go with the zoo! pads and stickers. also yellow crm's to go with me yellow dust cap and yellow rim-tape f+r so i think not may people have colour co-ordinated pads and rim-tape (Y)
Trebor
Mine's not individual in the slightest, all fairly standard parts (except my CK) in plain old black. I'm not really too fussed on colour co-ordination, just that I'm not gonna go out of my way to have a bike which isn't ocordinated when I could just as easily have one which is. I.e. I had a black frame, so I'm not gonna ask for a Raceline Magura when I can just go for a black one. I think it's silly if people put colour co-ordination before performance when it comes to choosing parts. Or custom stickers, don't really see the need, unless you're going all out on a nice paint job, but again, where's the need to do that, especially when it can be very expensive? That's just my boring perspective on it anyways . . . .
Brian Bleech
yeah i generally buy stuff in black or silver, that way it all coordinates by itself, without much effort, but that does end up quite dull though, so I have been known to brighten up my bikes Current Ashton Old Ashton (Why did it have to die it looked so cool (Y) :) ) mike
biketrialler
Mines normal parts but then I doubt you can have much thats rare and actually good! Ive got green Hope Mono Ti hubs, Green bar end plugs, green seat clamp, green head top cap etc... So a few nice green parts. When I got all that, nobody on here had green stuff. Michael Hardman
Yeah my hubs and headset are all silver got my sleek, smooth flowing silver look going, trying to make the bike look like 1 piece of metal. Although what I tried suggesting to my brother with his old koxx was to has an alternate colour scheme of silver and black, it would have looked trick as f**k
tipsy Jock
My bikes kinda personalised, ish lol. has blue hubs, blue maggie lever and blue bash guard. every other part is black with the exception of the frame, rear spokes and front lever. i sprayed the front and rear rims all black (except rear brake surface) looks really good i think, but i don't go out of my way to buy co-ordinated parts. Its all kinda missmatched but when I get my pure Im going to be running rear black koxx rim with red tape and a front red koxx rim with black tape. I like red and black what can I say! Mark W
I guess stuff becomes normal/popular because it IS good. That means that people want to run good produce, so they'll all have roughly the same thing (hence the multitude of similar "Long, low, silver" frames. I guess my bike's pretty individual with the prototype forks on it, but otherwise the spec is basically a standard T-Pro (albeit 2001 standard T-Pro parts on a 2004 T-Pro Second Gen. frame), 'cept for the Pazzaz carbons and the new Azonic X-Pedals that'll be here tomorrow morning...
