andyroo
Hey hey everybody, im starting to get the hang of backwheeling stuff, but using a pedal i am finding it harder to get any higher than can doing a static hop up, about 20" :"> Any suggestions? Cheers
Brisa
Just emphasise everything, really throw your arms out and try to use the momentum. I got a little bit of advice from 'aaroncosbey' off here yesterday. Used it on my new 20" (always rode 26") and i was soon doing my personal best. Brisa
Exaggerate more, more momentum and arms out! Will keep trying it and hopefully keep getting higher!

Luke Drewery
Yeh its all about strong movements, if youre too relaxed or not confident enough then you wont make it, youve just got to believe you can make it and commit all your effort to it (like someone said exagerate more) and make sure you push the bike in front of you as far as you can just before your about to land on the step, this is one of the keys to more height. It does take time and can be very frustrating to learn to backwheel high, but stick at it and you'll surprise yourself at how high you can get :o
011001000110010101110010
Throw your arms forwad loads and focus on the top of the wall not the bottom.
trialsking 55
pull the bike from under you and push the handle bars forward and pull the backwheel up as far as you can. aim to go over or right ontop of the wall. and as any omoto trials rider'll tell you : its all about confidence self beleif and aiming to get your backwheel over it. :o

Mr Motivator
I can do just over wheel height :"> , but the other day I did some thing that I could see was quite a bit over 26" but I didnt go up to it to check it out and measure it up with my wheel, I just rode up to it and did it. Just think, "YOU CAN MAKE IT OR YOU WILL SUFFER" sort of thing (Y) .
rich4130
Take pictures/videos, it helps suprisingly. A friend of mine took a pic of me backwheeling pallets, and its nice to see how your doing/what your doing wrong (Y) I managed 5 blue pallets which pleased me :D
colly
ride up to it, and compress your legs and use the spring in them to get the lift, and lean furthur back, i used to be able to do under 3ft with out a front bump. and i found you have to be more relaxed for the bigger steps or you will just end up going to bash. (Y) and lean right back.
FAT~DAN
as your in thelast 1/4 of a pedal stroke fart as hard and loud as you can lol not really just explode (not literally) and push your arms out Dan
zoojames
I found that having a lower rise stem helps, I seem to be able to lift up more and throw the bike up more than I can with say Brisa elites (very long very wide very up!) So a more streety style set up helps with ups IMO. I still cant do more than 5 pallettes though. I may just post a vid soon you guys so you can give me a hand.
