Nick Garland
The best option is to export it uncompressed from premiere. this can take up to 5gb depending on length of video etc. If you have the space this is the best way. Then find a program like TMpeg and compress it using this. I use Tmpg Express 3 it seems to do the job well, got a 5gb odd file to 35mbish and lost no quality, or very minimal so you couldnt actually notice it. aaroncosbey
The best way to do it is : click FILE >>> Export timeline >> ADOBE MPEG ENCODER . when the screen pops up select MPEG stream = VCD Video standard = PAL Select the destination (where you want the outputfile) export range = entire project Click export. if anything goes wrong or the quality is really bad, post back
Janson
Main Concept MPG Encoder is faster than TMPGEnc and works loads better than Adobe MPG Encoder. Also accepts loads of files, such as wmv, and so on. It costs money, so you have to do the illegal search for it.

Which should I get the Encoder or the Pro plugin for Premiere? Edited February 19, 2005 by Team War Rider
Janson
I prefer the separate encoder. that way, you can delete the orignial files the video was from, but keep the uncompressed finished video. If you wanna try other compression methods, or burn the fooker to a DVD or summat.
