that NBR dude
I must have had over 10 different sets of pads in the past year alone. I was after a pad that worked well on a clean rim, and tried almost every pad out on the market. rich4130
Erm, I've had my Plaz Crv since, err October, the end, there about half worn, they wore well fast then slowed down! I'd expect them to last another 5/6 months! so thats one I suppose. I'll be buying Heatsinks. Never using a grind! Mark W
I used a pair of X-Hydras for a year and a half. That was weird... Anyway, in 2004, I used the same X-Hydras until about summer time, had a new pair, then got some Koolstop reds from Quick_Spider for free (cheers :-), got given a Plaz CRM or 3 too, and some Heatsink Batch B's. Haven't worn out any of the Koolstops, CRM's or Batch B's, although one CRM is about 1mm thick. Not ideal... I took the Koolstop off as well 'cos I fancied more bite, which the pair of CRM's give (used to run one Koolstop and one CRM). They feel simply amazing on the front. Good bite, great lock. Gooreat. Trebor
Been using Koxx bloxx for about 7 months now, havn't rode as much as I should have (read: hardly ever) and they're still going strong :- Got some Coustellier pads lying around though, but they're 10mm so I can't use them until I either change rims, or cut them down, been wanting to go to Mavics for a while now . . . .
