Fishwog
Very nice website :- Only thing I would suggest is to make the font through the site a bit more bold, as the main blocks of text are a bit faint, and hard to read. Mark W
That is a really nice site. It'd be cool to get some pics of the lever too, 'cos I'm half-way interested. Always liked the feel of the RB lever, but never the price tag... Anyway, the site is one of the best I've seen, so yeah, good work :):-
Todge
If I get some CNC machined (which Im on my way to doing) then some pics will come, but mine are a bit battered looking now to take pics off :-
Simon
First off. Splash screens are sooooooooooo 2003. People want to see a website, not a text linking to the site. Ask yourself this - "what actually is the point of it". It has no use. If its a new released site, with information on the new release, then sure, but just the company name. Its worthless. Secondly, on 1024x768, im scrolling down, but see lots of white space on the homepage. If people see lots of white space, and have to scroll, they assume theres either something missing or wrong with the website, or it was poorly made. Now i know this is neither, as it clearly isnt a poor website, so maybe for the homepage bunch it up more, so there is no white space on the homepage. I can understand why you have it like that, as the other pages fill it all up, but just for the home page. OKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK. Just relised its cause its on different pages. But you could just as easily make it display the actuall site, instead of the splash. Also, the news/about/contact text at the bottom is quite hard to read, maybe changed the colour, or size of it. Maybe even define it more so its easier to read. Other then, its a great site. I would be very proud of that :- By the way, none if this post is in anyway trying to insult your site, just trying to help :)
Jonny Jones
I thought this was gonna be an amazing site - I tend to think this when a site has a massive pre-loader on it. Reached the download limit, then bang. Nothing. Flash isn't meant to be static and you could have done all of that in html - so much quicker to load and navigate. Perhaps consider scrapping the flash? Unless you're going to make it look and act the dogs dangly bits? Navigation again, I found it hard and annoying to have to hit the back link instead of the normal back-space key. And, im gonna get slated for this I think but, IN MY OPINION, I think the products you're bringing out look like something you would make for a GCSE project on a secondary school Lathe... or whatever it is you use to make them. They just don't jump out to me and say 'Quality' - perhaps its the surface finish? It looks rough. I recon that's all you need to work on... and the site a little. Hope I havn't annoyed you too much, but people can voice opinions. Jonny.
Luke Drewery
Cool site, looks quite impressive :) Some nice products on there too, likin' the tensioner :-
Heatsink
Just my suggestions: + Get some images on the front page which immediately tell people what you do. Don't need to be big! A picture paints a thousand words and all that - it'll mean you can minimise the amount of descriptive text you've got there. + Loose the click to enter thingy + Make it load quicker, otherwise most people will give up trying to access the site. + Your site is your first way to make an impression. Ideally it should communicate clearly (ease of navigation), satisfiy their quest for information and respond swiftly. On the lack of any other information, people may extrapolate the problems with the website to your engineering services too, which would be a real shame. + Navigation wise, going through the products wasn't immediately obvious. I'm just a fan of simplicity I guess and am probabily not the only one who clicked on the part descriptions frustratedly for a while. Why not make it easier? + Remove the contact link and slap the info on each page - make it easy to find rather than requiring lots of clicking (I need to sort this out on my site!) Hope this is constructive! Steve P.S. I've opened myself up to criticism about my own site now!
cant_ride
I actually really like the site... im not one of these media people who ( although constructively ) criticises things. To me, the general user, it looks awesome id say better than some professional websites ive seen, you want to be proud of that. Products look ok too .. I think I might be interested in a tensioner if the price is right. oli

Todge
Feedback has been good guys, thanks alot. Oli, feel free to check it over. Trials_Ace - What is a "SPLASH SCREEN" ? I made it in flash because its the only way I know how. I dont have a clue how to make a site with html, so its been done this way. As for the quality of some of the stuff, it can be justified. I presume you were talking about the mod tensioners. If this is the case, then Id agree too, but this is due to them only being prototypes and not in production. If its about the SS Tensioner then thats your opinion. But the people who have brought them have been very pleased with the quality. Obviously its not up to Hope standards, but then again I dont have £300,000 to spend on CNC Milling Machines and my market is much more specialised, with customisation available on all products. Thanks anyway. Todge

SamHolmes
Trials_Ace - What is a "SPLASH SCREEN" ? ← I think a splash screen is the screen at the start that links you to the actual site, I might be wrong though  Anyway, I really like the site  I think it would look better if the site was centered :o Edited February 17, 2005 by Python_Sam

br3n
it looks awesome id say better than some professional websites ive seen This is true and I've seen far worse, Its good to see trials sites evolving from left hand frames with navigation and the rest just content, you've put effort into the design and it shows... however. Some things about webdesign wont change, firstly - allthough it doesnt apply to you, koxx should have learned this - never have type off axis, it is not print and therefor cannot be physically rotated. Navigation - Most people will look to the top or the top left of a website for navgation unless it is made very obvious thats where it is not. the navigation is hard to use, it took some random clicking to get to what I wanted and some people just wont bother. As for looking better than some pro's ones, yes it does look nice but there are hundreds of errors which would have to be corrected if it had been done by a "pro" even if the first is to meet web publishing standards. colour theories, Positioning theories, Text size, aliasing (you should use pixel fonts really) all kinds of shit. But yeh, exciting to see flash implimented into trials media and keep up the good work!

Bionic Balls
that's pretty nice (Y) like Jonny said...the back button is quite annoying  adam
Tim
On the single speed tensioners page, you missed an F from the end of 'off' Also if you hove over the white space that normally shows the text with your mouse the text shows. The on hover event thingy displays the text, that is annoying on the bash guard page since theres two different bits of information ment to be shown there at different times. (maybe its me)
rich4130
Its still flash, and to slow/big, soon as I saw 500k to load, I closed it. Just make it in Html, please.
EngageClothin
hmmmm, i dunno what it is, but i just dont like the site. Looks plain and boring. But fair play for doing it in flash. Dont like all the back buttons etc. It takes a while to try and figure out how to navigate round the site. I like plain sites normaly, but not this one. Good job though  Keep it up!
